Wheelchair basketball is an exciting form of basketball that delivers an opportunity to develop new skills, increase your fitness and meet new friends.

Originally designed as a rehabilitation and recreation activity for those with a physical disability, the sport in now enjoyed by people of all abilities.

WS NSW organises regional and state-based competitions throughout the year. Once you have joined a local training program, entry to these competitions are open to you.

Wheelchair Basketball NSW Championships

Formerly known as the Country Cup, the Wheelchair Basketball NSW Championship will be held 23-25 August 2019 at the Sydney Academy of Sport, Narrabeen. This event is open to all Wheelchair Basketballers around NSW, regardless of age, ability or classification.

Wheelchair Basketball Illawarra Festival

The Wheelchair Basketball Illawarra Festival supported by Top End will be held 9-13 October 2019.
The Masters Tournament will be held at Kiama Leisure Centre 9-10 October 2019
The Illawarra Festival Tournament will be held at Shellharbour City Stadium 12-13 October 2019
