Wheelchair Rugby
Wheelchair Sports NSW/ACT is the governing body for Wheelchair Rugby in NSW and the ACT. We are always looking for new players to get involved and join us in this great sport.
Wheelchair Rugby is an intense, physical team sport for all genders who have an impairment in all four limbs.
At Wheelchair Sports NSW/ACT, we have two Clubs for Wheelchair Rugby – Sydney University and the Rolling Wildfires. Our Clubs train weekly, compete in the Club Challenge, and also the Wheelchair Rugby National League.
Players can then be selected into the GIO NSW Gladiators or ACT Buccaneers for the Wheelchair Rugby National Championships.

WHEELCHAIR RUGBY CLUB CHALLENGE 2024
The Wheelchair Rugby Club Challenge is a chance for new and experienced players to compete in an entry-level competition, all equipment provided, sign up as an individual and be drafted into a team. Wheelchair Sports NSW/ACT will finalise all teams. Registrations close at midnight on the Sunday before each event.

2024 Santos Wheelchair Rugby National Championship

The NSW Gladiators were named Division One Champions and the ACT Buccaneers took out bronze in Division Two.
