As well as our 9 sports, we have five programs to support our members. Check them all out below.
The Junior Wheelies Camps are for children aged 6-18 years who want to have some fun and give wheelchair sports a try. Supported by Macquarie, everyone who comes along will have the chance to try different wheelchair sports, learn some skills and meet new friends. Click to find out more.
As part of serving our mission to change the lives of people with a disability through participation in sport, we’ve identified the need to specifically reach the girls and women of NSW and the ACT. Our HER SPORT approach is informed by the excellent HER SPORT HER WAY Strategy from the NSW Office of Sport. Click to find out more.
We have equipment for use by our members, both available at our training hubs and for members to take home. There are a number of different types of sport chairs and racing chairs. Hiring a chair is a great way to try a number of different sports and finding what chair suits you best. Click to find out more.
To support our athletes to take advantage of every sporting opportunity available to them, we run an annual Athlete Grant Program. Our Athlete and Junior Members are eligible for grants that can be used to subsidise sport related expenses such as entry fees, equipment and transport for events in our 9 managed sports. Our Rolling Rainbow Program works to ensure wheelchair sport is always welcoming and inclusive for the LGBTQ+ community. Including everybody in wheelchair sport is at the core of who we are. We work alongside Pride in Sport to review our website, communication, and event design to provide a safe and fun environment for all. Click to find out more.
