Join us at the 2025 Wheelchair Basketball HER SPORT Festival. 

Registrations will close the 28 February 2025

The Wheelchair Basketball HER SPORT Festival is a wonderful opportunity to play competitive Wheelchair Basketball in a safe and inclusive environment. It is also an opportunity to connect with old and new friends, learn new skills and encourage/mentor more girls & women into our sporting community.

You are invited to attend for the full weekend, or a day of your choice.

All women and girls (cis and trans), non-binary people and gender minorities are welcome to get involved over the weekend. 

All abilities included. New and experienced players are welcome. There will be plenty of expert coaches on hand to teach you the rules and skills required and everyone will have a chance to play, from our elite national league players to those just starting out. Please bring your own sports chair if you have one, otherwise Wheelchair Sports will provide one. 

Classification: You do not need to be classified to participate in this festival. If you are interested to learn more or to start the process of classification for wheelchair basketball please contact Marta 0408 358 605 for more information.

Date & Time:
- Friday 7 March 2025: check-in from 4.00pm: time to meet your team-mates for the weekend, and casual skills session with our expert wheelchair basketball coach in the evening after dinner  
- Saturday 8 March 2025: 9.00am to 4.00pm: Wheelchair Basketball warm up skills & drills and match play
- Sunday 9 March 2025: 9.00am to 12:30pm: Continued Wheelchair Basketball match play

Accommodation and catering packages:

• Three Day Pass: (Friday to Sunday): including accommodation and catering: $110 (players only)
• One Day Pass (Saturday only): Wheelchair Basketball HER SPORT Festival (no accommodation, lunch included for players only): $35
• One Day Pass: (Sunday only): Wheelchair Basketball HER SPORT Festival (no accommodation, lunch included for players only): $35
• Full weekend including accommodation and catering (parents/carers with cards): $290

Active Kids Vouchers are accepted.

Accommodation:
Accommodation is only available for participants who select the three-day (full event) ticket option.
You will be required to provide all bedding, including sheets/blankets and pillow if you are staying the full weekend.

Venue:
The venue is child friendly, however, please note that there are no change tables. There are accessible toilets and restrooms inside the facility right next to the courts we will be playing on, inside the accomodation rooms, and in the dining hall. 

Parking:
There is ample parking, with numerous car parks close to all facilities in the venue. All paths from the parking areas to the facility are well lit. Please see the map below for wayfinding. The red path leads to the recommended car parks (circled). The venues highlighted in yellow will be our most frequented venues.
