Registration for this event closes at Mon 02 Dec 2024 20:00.
The Junior Wheelies Christmas Camp is for children aged 6-18 years who want to have some fun and give wheelchair sports a try.
Everyone who comes along will have the chance to try different wheelchair sports, learn some skills and meet new friends.
All of the kids will be able to have a go at Wheelchair Basketball, Wheelchair Football, Wheelchair Tennis, Wheelchair Handball, Wheelchair Rugby, Wheelchair AFL, Wheelchair Cricket, Wheelchair Baseball, Archery, Kayaking, Swimming, and other fun activities.
We accept Active and Creative Kids vouchers for Junior Wheelies Camps.
The Active and Creative Kids program, run by the NSW Government, provides two $50 vouchers per year for families receiving the Family Tax Benefit and can apply for an Active and Creative Kids voucher for each eligible child.
If your child can only attend one camp, the price is from $35 per camp.
If you haven’t registered for an Active and Creative Kids voucher with Service NSW you can apply here. Applications for the first round of this voucher are open now with another voucher available from July 2024.
*PLEASE NOTE* Siblings of children living with a disability are invited in circumstances when a child living with a disability otherwise wouldn't attend.
Accomodation: All attendees will be forwarded a portal link from the Office of Sport upon registering with Wheelchair Sports NSW/ACT. This needs to be completed before attending the camp. Please bring your own bed linen and towels for showering and swimming.
