The 2017 Apia Wheelchair International Sydney (AWIS) is a Super Series Tournament on the UNIQLO International Wheelchair Tennis Tour (ITF), second only in status to a Grand Slam. The AWIS is the only tournament of its type in Australia and a crucial component of the Australian Wheelchair Tennis Tour. This is the only opportunity for local athletes to seek international standard competition in Sydney each year.  2017 marks the 29th year of this tournament which is now integrated with the Apia International.

Tickets to see the world’s best wheelchair tennis players (and their able body counterparts) can be purchased here.

Visit wheelchair.tennis.com.au for more information about the AWIS including schedules, draws and Wheelchair Tennis tournaments all over Australia! Alternatively, contact WS NSW on 02 9809 5260 or via email – reception@wsnsw.org.au
