NSW Juniors look to defend National title at 2017 Kevin Coombs Cup

This time next week our NSW Juniors will be in Townsville to defend their National title at the 2017 Kevin Coombs Cup.

“Our preparations have been intense with 4 camps and a tournament since January as well as weekly individual training. The 10 players selected have showed tremendous commitment to the teams culture and goals of making the final at the 2017 Kevin Coombs Cup.” – Troy Sachs OAM, ASM Head Coach

In 2017 the NSW Juniors Kevin Coombs Cup team includes 7 members of the NSW team who were National Champions in 2016 as well as 3 new players all from regional areas. Georgia Munro-Cook was chosen by her teammates as captain and will lead the NSW Juniors at Kevin Coombs cup in 2017. Head Coach Tory Sachs OAM, ASM says “Georgia will give the team a well-balanced player who is able to change the flow of the game but more importantly an individual who ticks all the boxes in terms of culture, training, and life goals.”
