Autumn Wheelchair Basketball League (AWBL)

2017 Registration Form

Autumn Wheelchair Basketball League is back in 2017! The League will run from February to June (6 rounds of social competitions). We will be using some new venues in Sydney as we endeavour to begin some new programs and will also be holding a round at both our regional hubs, Newcastle and Illawarra, which I hope the Sydney teams will support and attend.

This is the type of league which you should invite anyone who is playing or interested in playing wheelchair basketball, including family and friends to come along and have a go; the more the merrier! Wheelchair Sports NSW can arrange additional chairs if given enough notice.

We know that life is busy and people may not be able to commit to every round. We are also aware that a couple of rounds may clash with the National Wheelchair Basketball League and the Women’s National Wheelchair Basketball League, as well as other personal events. We have tried to avoid this as best we can, but not all clashes could be avoided. We would also welcome regional teams joining the league for as many rounds as they would like. As a result, participants have the option to pay per round or for 3, 4, 5 or 6 rounds.

Wednesday 22nd Feb 12pm – Registration forms and payments due for ROUND 1 (either full payments for 3, 4, 5 or 6 rounds or $25 for the first round).
